AIQuant Inc is a non-profit stewardship business entity formed to hold and defend the rights of the intellectural properties produced by this
team.
AIQuant is not registered as a non-profit organization at this point due to registration complicity and reporting requirements, but the team's focus is community contributions, volunteerism and altruism. The
team aknowledges the possibility that AIQuant, Inc could evolve into a startup.
AIQuant started as a community project in fall of 2008 to prototype and experiment the idea of building a software framework for investment analysis, back testing and automated executions. As a team building exercise, we developed a simple downloader that allows the user to download daily historical quotes for all US stocks.
This downloader is code named "Toy" and will be ready for public beta in the next couple of weeks.
